1st Place in “Surgical Education and Training” – Summer School Competition
Our team won the first place in the category “Surgical Education and Training” at the Medical AR Summer School hosted by #TUMCamp, #JohnsHopkinsUniversity, and #BalgristUniversityHospital.
Fifteen Teams of experts from all over the world participated in the competition.
Together with our clinical collaborator Sebastian Andress from #LMUHospitalMunich, we could push forward a design study to an initial proof of principle.
A poster abstract of this work in progress that the team entitled “ARTFM: Augmented Reality Visualization of Tool Functionality Manuals in Operating Rooms” was also published at this years IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces.
